Bed and breakfast accommodation in Sloane Square, Central London
This upmarket area offers great shopping and a wide variety of restaurants, especially along the King’s Road. Sloane Square is also home to the Royal Court theatre which stages innovative and often thought-provoking plays. The Saatchi Gallery featuring interactive modern art – has its new home at the Duke of York’s headquarters nearby.
In what is known as The Royal Borough this area is very upmarket and fashionable. Enjoy wandering down the King’s Road.
Possibly less known and yet a must for tourists to visit is the Chelsea Physic Garden with its ‘Secret Garden’, a centre of education, beauty and relaxation. Founded in 1673 by the Worshipful Society of Apothecaries, it continues to research the properties, origins and conservation of over 5000 species of plants. There are few institutions in the United Kingdom with an unbroken three centuries of service and none of them is so close to the heart of the nation as “The Men in Scarlet”, the Chelsea Pensioners, and their home, the Royal Hospital Chelsea. Located near to the Army Museum where visitors can find out how Britain’s past has helped to shape our present and its future.

Our stay with Susie was a highlight of our UK trip! Susie is a wonderful host. She left nothing to be desired. The breakfast was excellent and we got great suggestions for excursions and walks. We will surely come back again.

We absolutely loved our stay at Susie’s! Since the moment we arrived we felt at home. Susie provided detailed instructions for our arrival, and welcomed us with a nice cup of tea. Our room was beautiful and very comfortable. The location was great, we were able to explore the area, as well as go anywhere in London since Sloane Square station is just 2 minutes walking. We did not feel so much like tourists during our stay, and it was all because of our accommodations. Breakfast every morning was lovely, and Susie had great advice on what (and when) attractions were most interesting.

Rembrandt Close Susie’s B&B is a wonderful place to stay. Susie is a very attentive host, serving a very good breakfast, but most of all making you feel at home. We found the room spick and span, with a shower/bath you only expect in the best hotels. Susie is not intrusive, but very helpful. And of course, her dog Sparky puts cherry on the cake (which he would prefer to eat himself). He found out I was the weak link and I really don’t know how I succeeded in not giving him some food from the table. Elly and me hope Susie will keep running her B&B for a long time, because next time we’ll visit London, I won’t have to search the Internet to find a place to stay.

Richard and I stayed at “SLOANE SQUARE, REMBRANDT CLOSE” for a little over a week and we had a fabulous time there. We loved how Susie was attentive to us, spoiled us with home cooked breakfasts almost every morning and gave us excellent advice for tours, places to dine and furnished us with play reviews. Also, her canine assistant Sparky was wonderful at being charming and welcoming us every time we returned. We had such a wonderful time, we want to come back and visit her again. We will definitely recommend to our friends. Cheerio, Toni and Richard H,USA 28.09.15

Our too short stay was one of the highlights of our holiday. What a great location and being only 2 minutes from the metro it was so convenient for getting to all the places we wanted to go in London. Susie is a lovely person and was so helpful and knowledgeable about where to go and how to get there. Our room was gorgeous and very comfortable. Susie made us feel so welcome with many cups of restorative tea and we really enjoyed sharing a glass of red wine and conversation with her at the end of the day. I would highly recommend Susies B&B to anyone looking for a memorable stay in London. Belinda and D

To be honest, we just loved it. We had a wonderful time and the people where we were staying were just adorable. They treated us with “five star” breakfasts and were very friendly and helpful. The tube is 2 minutes from the house. Karine B
