We just came back my husband and I from a week-end in London and were staying at Church Gate. It was just perfect, we loved it. The house is beautifully decorated, the bedroom comfortable and the breakfast incredible : our host is a Cordon Bleu. We will definitely come back here ! Philippine P, France

We liked the bed & breakfast very much. The host family were friendly and helpful. The rooms are beautiful and nice decorated. The bathroom was almost bigger then the sleeping room. We were glad that the wireless network worked in the room. We could go and come when we like and got a key for open the gate and front-door. The breakfast was excellent. Fruit, bread and hot meals altogether. In the neighbourhood we could walk in a little park (Bristol park) with a castle. Marlies Z, Holland 17.5.13

I wanted to add a comment about our stay. The first time I stayed there was in 2005 when I offered a trip to London to my husband for his 40th birthday and it was his first time in England. We were delighted with our 3 night stay because everything was done for us to feel comfortable, it was early in February and the house was warm, beautiful and the breakfast incredibly good. 4 years later I came back to their house for a 3 night stay in late April; it was a special treat for my mothers 70th birthday. I went there with her and my sister because both of them had never been to England. Our hosts were wonderful, thinking of putting the electric heater on at night before our return for my mother to feel warm in her bedroom, the English breakfast was served every morning with fresh fruit from the market and the plate varied every morning. These subtle details should be known on the website. I have been travelling a lot for 25 years staying in very nice and expensive hotels as well as in bed and breakfasts… and I may say that my opinion comes from experience, so potential visitors should know that the hosts endeavour themselves in doing what they can to please their guests and they do it sincerely. They deserve to be highly advertised. Nathalie B

We had a great stay. Personable hosts, wonderful facilities, great breakfasts and easy to get to. Just a short walk to Putney Bridge tube, good value neighbourhood restaurants – all in all a very enjoyable place to stay. We’d do it again. Jan H

The b&b was exactly what we were hoping to find…a beautiful home, kind and helpful hosts and 2 minutes from the tube. Good restaurants, the river, a large park and a cinema nearby all added to our wonderful stay. Ron and Harriet

This was only the second time we have used your agency for our stays in London and WOW, what a find this home was. Everything oozed quality. From the minute we entered their beautiful home we were made to feel at home and nothing was too much trouble. Both the bedroom and bathroom areas were beautifully decorated and spotlessly clean. The breakfast provided a huge choice and was delicious. The house was literally a 3 minute walk from Putney Bridge tube station with plenty of trains into central London. Thank you so very much to our hosts who were so professional hosts yet very friendly and helpful. A 5 star experience which we would highly recommend to anyone. We cannot wait for a return visit.
