London Transport Museum

In this museum you will find the story of transport in London over the last 200 years – whether travelling by bicycle or taxi, on the river or by tram, bus or underground and how the different forms of transport played a part in the lives of all those living and working in this city. Discover how the Victorians travelled around London, how the tube was developed in the 1860s, the important role the transport system played during both world wars and how transport works today. This year, 2013, is the 150th anniversary of the London underground. Free entry for children under 16.
