I enjoyed VERY MUCH.  The host was great and the house is very beautiful full of interesting things.  The area is near the tube so very comfortable and convenient.  Nadia S

We couldn't have been happier with everything. We had no trouble finding the place - it's conveniently located just two blocks from the Tube, so popping down to the city center and back was a breeze. Even though we had only reserved our room for 2 nights, Nicola made us feel right at home in her place. She gave us a little tour of the rooms, offered us tea and made us feel like members of the"family" there. The room we stayed in was a good size and very nicely furnished - it felt comfortable, personalized and "homey", very unlike a sterile or generic hotel room. The decor in the house was very interesting and tasteful, with various unique knick-knacks and antiques. Another special touch that my husband and I particularly loved were all of the great books lining the shelves in the room (and bathroom)! The breakfast served us each morning was also very good - it was continental, but by no means scant. She provided cereals and fresh fruits, yogurt, and her own fresh home-baked bread with a large assortment of spreads to go on it. Nicola was a pleasure to talk with, and we are very grateful for her kindness and all of her vast knowledge and fascinating stories that she shared with us. Out of all of the many places we stayed throughout our two-week journey around England and Scotland, Nicola's was our favorite.  Alison K
