Take the opportunity to visit the home of the fictional detective Sherlock Holmes and also the marvellous Wallace Collection in Manchester Square, close to Selfridges.  Regent's Park which is near Baker Street is home to London Zoo, the Royal Botanic Society and a number of other organisations and institutions.  It is also the largest outdoor sports area in London. 


Baker Street tube is on the Bakerloo and Jubilee line, the District line and the Hammersmith & City line, and is in zone 1 on the London underground (the most central area of London).  This was the world's first underground station.
